Meanwhile in Wales

In Wales they have a full lockdown due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
This will last 17 days.
However, as with Scotland and Nicola fish face, power seems to have gone to the devolved Welsh government's head.

They told supermarkets to cover up all non-essential items and don't sell them.
This is because it is unfair on the other shops that sell non-essential items which had to close.
As an example, you can buy alcohol but not a kettle to make your tea.

Good, because it's a stupid thing to do.

They took all of five minutes and rejected calls to scrap the new rules so they still apply.
This is tougher than the first time we locked down.

What difference does it make to what you buy?

Does the virus say "ill not infect you if you buy some milk, but you'd better watch out if you buy some socks"

Its ridiculous, it's bordering on dictatorship. I think the power has gone to the man's head

Their argument is so that it gets you in and out the shops quicker as well as giving the non-essential shops a little more trade when it's over.
The only problem is people will shop online and make the richest man on earth richer........ and he pays very little tax!

Restriction of free trade. The consumer can go anywhere to buy anything

But it prevents the spread of the virus.
