Authorities say they are taking "immediate and robust action" after the H5N8 strain was found in Herefordshire and Cheshire, and H5N2 was confirmed in Kent.
According to the NHS the H5N8 strain has not infected any humans worldwide to date, while H5N6 hasn't infected anyone in the UK and doesn't spread from humans to birds easily.
Hopefully it doesn't jump to us lot.. Last thing we need is another pandemic

Re: Bird flu: Third outbreak detected in England
Pandemics are a once in a 100 year thing.
Most of these outbreaks are not as contagious as this bloody coronavirus so they fizzle out.
That's what I can't understand - they knew a nasty pandemic was due and we had no plan to kick in.
Just look at all the books and films that foresaw pandemics on a biblical scale.
