Trump barred from social media

Post by Steve30000 »

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-55569604

Donald Trump has been suspended from Twitter and Facebook after tweeting to supporters who attacked the US Capitol.

In a social media message to protesters he said "I love you" before telling them to go home. He also repeated false claims about election fraud.

Its on a BBC website though, so some people might not believe it....

What are we talking about, the fact that there was disruption in the power transfer in the USA or lies that the BBC tell?
I take it that it's the former because the BBC wouldn't lie would they?

All these things are telling me that they as well as us here in the UK (Brexit as an example), and in most western countries, division is rife.
As with us here, there is already a campaign going on for us to rejoin the EU, so that division will not go away for many years to come.
Across the pond, if anyone thought that it was all harmonious, forget it, and those divisions will not heal quickly either.

It proves that freedom of speech is almost dead if the President of America can't have his say on social media.

It's shocking, and don't start me off with electoral fraud because that happens here as well :argument:

Those who go along with the system are also responsible for absolutely murdering free speech.
