What happened to the new board layout plans?

The Sunderland Forum deals with all local issues in the chat rooms above. However, this is the General Off Topic Forum. So, this area is for all non-local-issues, for example, national news or any other interests etc.

There are not many options available really but I will see if we can change things about - possibly allowing the user to change the boards for themselves.

I got on when it was still progressing and the site wasn't secure.. the padlock at the top of the screen was open.

We took the site offline completely then moved to a company with a decent reputation so it could well be that you were seeing the cached version of the website.

Everything was safe and well and we waited for the security lock to activate again before we updated it all.

Even then, everything is safe - even without a lock because the chances of anyone abusing the system are very remote ;)

Hackers would have to sit there and wait but with tens of millions of websites online the chances of them waiting at ours are very slight - all that just to grab a member's password or ip. It's simply not worth their while but it does happen obviously.

On topic again - we can add a few forum styles what the members can change to suit their mood and will try that out but in the past, most people just left the default style.
