Re: Duke of Edinburgh has died
I was just coming to post something here.
Very sad news. The Duke of Edinburgh has died, Buckingham Palace has announced.
Philip, 99, was the longest-serving consort in British history.
The duke and the Queen were married for more than 70 years and Philip dedicated decades of his life to royal duty, serving the nation at the monarch’s side.
What was that you said again?

It had to come, I just hope The Queen doesn't die soon of a broken heart.
Rest in peace, sir.

Women usually live longer than men, so I'd say it'll be a few years yet. Hopefully covid will be long gone by then..then there will be a proper send off with crowds
