Energy prices are rocketing but I think they have to cap domestic bills at just under £200 every year.

I must admit that recently I am having to make savings. I just replaced all bulbs in the house with energy-saving LED ones and am looking to do more on this front because the bills are going to go up pretty steep.

We've just gone around the house and put lots of energy-saving devices in like low wattage LED bulbs and also made sure we had the loft insulated.
It's already made an impact and I have got everyone to turn off the computers when they are not using them

My PC is on all day, I must admit.
Maybe it's time to get in the habit of turning mine off from time to time.

Does it not turn itself off if left idle for a while?

Now it does, I read about this when I got up.
You set it in the power options.
Now my PC is set for the screen to go off after 2 minutes of inactivity while the PC goes to standby after 15 minutes.
We have three computers and they are all set now.

That has me thinking if there's anything more to do like this because sometimes I have fell asleep with he computer on all night.
