Is the worst cold ever going around?

Or maybe it's just the fact that we've been avoiding each other for so long, that our immune systems have weakened to the point that even the common cold feels worse?

Just sensationalising like most other news articles.
I have a cold with my temperature high and low.
When you catch a cold or something else, the first thing you think of is OMG I'm going to die of Covid
These colds are no worse than the other colds it's just that we are more likely to allow our overworked emotions run riot.

I know a few who have the sniffles and got worried, so much so that they got a few covid tests - all negative by the way.

All sorts mixed in with this heavy cold - all sorts :(
I guess our immune system is not up to scratch after 18 sterile months.

I don't see anyone using the hand sanitiser in the shops now.

Many people did before and sometimes there was a queue at the supermarket for hand sanitiser and the cleaners for the trolleys and baskets.
I always used them but now they just seem like relics from the past.
