That's correct and it will not get any better. Some places move on and progress while others are still in the stone age and don't look like they can move forward. The total number of deaths so far from the Hajj pilgrimage stampede has risen to 2,177.
The number of deaths reported by the official Saudi Arabia reports is still at 769 people killed and 934 injured. The Saudi figures have not changed since September the 26th as they have not addressed the discrepancy yet.
The death toll will continue to rise and so will the number that were injured in the Hajj pilgrimage as more information becomes clearer.
What a shocking waste of life. Its also so sad to see the Saudi's not getting their act together on their figures.
Many bodies of the victims are still to be identified.

Stampedes can be dangerous with just 100 people or less never mind millions.
Any gathering such as this will always result in some loss of life or limb for sure.
