Does that make him the greatest?
He did a lot for boxing. Well he was a champion, now we have a great number of sport fans thanks to him.

I have no recollection of Muhammad Ali whatsoever.
I do like Chris Eubank though - he was a gentleman in the boxing world.

The trouble is I have heard about previous Sunderland football players who were supposed to be great but I have never seen them or their skills.
On that note who are we to say who is the greatest?
Its probably only the media promoting what they want.

RIP to Ali.
Respect to Ali for his achievement in the boxing ring whatever they were as I have only heard about him.

He is not the greatest now :neenar:
Self proclaimed people get no respect from me.
If I said I was the greatest fisherman on earth would I get respect?

To be honest, how many younger people have ever heard of him?

He was a good boxer in the ring.
As for him doing work for the civil rights movement I think he went a bit too far there.
