I was at the Hylton Retail Park yesterday and saw the new Wear Bridge A-frame in all its glory.
Can't wait for it to open, even if it's just to get rid of all these road works.

Once the bridge is up and running, it will be magnificent.
I personally can't wait to use it, and the view at night promises to be breathtaking.

Looking at the new Wear crossing now, it looks like you can actually walk over it but there's still a year before it opens.
