Southwick Green Christmas Lights

Southwick Green Christmas Lights

Things look good on Southwick Green with the Christmas lights all working, they certainly brighten the place up.
I drove past there last night and they set an example in my opinion.
In contrast, I drove through Pallion and they have a few festive boards but that's about it :?
Looks like Pallion has a village theme.
I haven't seen the City Centre lights yet but I think they focus on Keel Square.
Just wondering if there are any other decent festive lights about in Sunderland?

I might have the day off today!

Pallion has little soldiers attached to the pavement posts I think, well that's what my impression was.

Southwick looks good but if they added a few more lights it would be fantastic. Pallion is a little drab in comparison but then again the Green has more scope for Christmas lights. I think the council could make these places a great place for the kids to visit. Money is tight but this is for the kids.

I like the sign posts in Pallion.
Actually, since Pallion has a main road going right through it, they done a decent job.

Fulwell has a decent showing but not enough lights, especially the tiny things on the lampposts that may as well not be there
There's a canny display which seems to be like water flowing down but I never had a close look at it.
Also, the university on Chester Road looks decent.
Sunderland City Centre should really have more in Fawcett Street etc.
All in all I can't complain too much about the lights.
