Sunderland v Middlesbrough Game - 24/02/2018
Sunderland v Middlesbrough Game - 24/02/2018
English Championship - Stadium of Light - Kick Off 3pm
Here is the team news for this derby match.
Sunderland starting XI: Camp, Kone, O’Shea, Clarke-Salter, Matthews, Cattermole, McNair, Honeyman, Oviedo, Asoro, Maja
Sunderland substitutes: Steele, Williams, Jones, McGeady, McManaman, Browning, E Robson
Sunderland have played Middlesbrough twice this season in the league and cup, both at the Riverside Stadium.
Both games ended in a Sunderland defeat.
Boro have won every game this season when they went ahead.
The idea then is not to go behind in this game.
Both sides are on a poor run at the moment.
Its a canny sunny day on Wearside if a little chilly, lets hope the lads can warm us all up.

Surely we can beat the Smoggies today, haway!
Not seen Boro play for a while like but when I saw them a couple of years ago, they were awesome.
But today's another day.

Some people are saying this is not a derby nowadays when it used to be at one point
They are saying it is just local rivalry.
Anyway, the Smoggies will think this is going to be easy, I hope Chris Coleman and the lads have different ideas.

Keep this up and we will be ok.
Talk about Boro's record but we haven't lost a game where we went in front either.

Ffs Clarke-Salter got sent off in the 24th minute, just when things were going well.
