Good, we will keep this in mind. Good luck with the new pub. I hope it takes off. I can't remember going in the old Vestry so maybe I will make amends soon and visit this place and see what I missed.

Yeah the guy who owns the pub has done a really good job with it! Everyone who comes in and plays the quiz comments on the venue and how nice, and quite different, it is

We popped in The Albert last night but they had no Fosters so we tried some Spanish lager. It wasn't a good taste, trust me. Only had one though then went up the top to get drunk

Not tried the CC but the IPA in there is superb!
The quiz was another good success last night, with a good crowd despite the World Cup games. Winners snuck it by 2 points, and 5 teams led the standings at one point which is good to see!
The Jackpot still was not won so looking at close to £150 next week!

Nice one but the pup is off the beaten trail.
Still I hope it succeeds.

Do you start with £160 or does it roll over? It was £160 before.DanielFullard wrote: ↑03 Jul 2018, 10:14 Jackpot is still running strong!

The jackpot rolls over every week. Only the very first player who gets the answer closest to the pin gets a chance to answer the Jackpot question for the full amount. In 8-9 weeks nobody has managed to get it right first time and hence the main total remains.
However, after the first person I ask a couple of side questions for decreasing amounts. Someone won £30 from it last week meaning that the total remains the same this week.
