I would have took the draw after starting the way we did but as we grew in confidence I will take all three points. Jack Ross and the lads will want more days like these so that result will have done them the world of good. Record crowds as well

Not many left early today. I am not sure if they were expecting a last gasp goal but the atmosphere was electric when we scored it.

Goochies goal reminded me of an Eric Gates goal last time we were in this league.
This goal by Gooch deserves a lot of credit.
In fact it was a touch of excellence 8-)

Some people have knocked this lad with the recorder but there's no disputing his passion for Sunderland.
Here's his two videos of the goals.

Josh Maja's goal:

Lynden Gooch's goal:

Listened to this game on Radio Newcastle while driving about.
We just won a fantastic game and then it was straight to Newcastle for commentary on a Maggie friendly game.
WTF.
No talk about us - nothing.
Tells me one thing and that is if this station supposed to be unbiased, I am a Dutchman.

He is passionate alright :D
He either has a steady hand or a class phone cos the video is hardly jerky.
I'd like to know what phone it is.
