This really was a one sided game.
In the first half the mags has a couple of threatening moves but that's all they were - moves!
Come the second half, we ran circles round them.
Forget the rubbish that Newcastle supporters will bang on about.
This was basically almost our reserve squad from the third tier in English football and that was their finest young team ready to step up to the Premier League.
While Sunderland completely dominated, their team looked very weak.
Honestly, forget about the banter, they didn't have to accept an invitation in this competition but they did and were always going to get a walloping if they drew us which they did.
Bye Bye Newcastle, but Sunderland is on the way to Wembley

Great result for the lads and I don't care what the Mags say, it hurt them and they can't stop talking about it.

I used to have banter with them all the time and always won the argument but then things got silly so I don't bother now.
At the end of the day, we win a cup, get a million quid on the way, go up as champions with another cup.
We cut out the dead wood along the way, freshened our act up, beat them twice in the Championship next season.
Reinforce our top dogs position - I am happy at all this
What was that you said again?
