Grant Leadbitter Coming Home

Post by blockheed »

Grant Leadbitter is coming home to Sunderland.
He has just signed a two and a half year deal after leaving Middlesbrough.
Leadbitter played for us between 2003 until 2009.
So what are your thoughts on the 33 year old returning back to his roots?

So, its confirmed.
Now we have an experienced player who knows what its all about here.
Lets hope his experience shines through and rubs off on the rest of the lads.
Good signing.

That's a long contract for a 33 year old

My judgement is reserved on this one, I am not going by the name just performances.
If he gives us that edge for promotion then its a good deal.
Luton are the strongest team right now and we have a few games in hand which we need to win.
Portsmouth are slackening just a little.
I want to see us in the top two not the play offs so yes, if Grant does the job I will be happy.

Very good signing but maybe we need another player before the transfer window closes.

Love that he was willing to take a big pay cut to play for us. We have lacked a player who can pass a ball forwards in centre mid since Honeyman got injured so hopefully this will improve our attacking threat.
