The swingers club in Hudson Road, Sunderland looks like its got a battle on its hands.

Its not illegal to open such a club but is allegedly operating illegally as it has got no planning permission.

Ward councillor, Barbara McClennan, is determined to get the place shut down.

While the club remains resolute by a spokesperson saying "I believe Ms McClennan has a lot more serious issues to address within her ward than concern herself over what consenting adults do in the privacy of Hudson Road".
