Who is catching coronavirus?
The supermarkets have the same staff that I've known for quite some time and none of them know any other staff member who caught coronavirus.
The postman is a regular around here and I asked him if he knew anyone in the postal service who had it and the answer was no.
My work takes me to both Ryhope Hospital and the Royal Hospital possibly once a week to 10 days and no staff there know any other staff member who has caught this dreaded lurgy.
In my works, none of my colleagues know anyone who has caught it.
So, the question is, who is catching the coronavirus and what profession is suffering worst?

What was that you said again?

Yet? 65m population, hopefully we can get treatments so we can stop people getting critical when they do get it.thingamajig wrote: ↑29 Apr 2020, 20:15 The supermarkets have the same staff that I've known for quite some time and none of them know any other staff member who caught coronavirus.

Re: Who is catching coronavirus?
I know someone who says she's had it and recovered and that was when only 7 people in Sunderland had it.
I am not sure if she was one of those figures though and I never confirmed whether she actually had it, well you can't without seeing records I suppose!

It's all a mystery but if you dig deep like I just did you'll find out that these so called coronavirus hospital wards are empty.

Re: Who is catching coronavirus?
These figures are approx:
Sunderland has a population close to 300,000.
There's around 1,000 people who have it or recovered from it.
That's around 0.3% of the people so around 1 in 300 people.
Most people will not know anyone who has it out of those figures.

Re: Who is catching coronavirus?
Correct and many people have already got it and don't know with some having had it and never knew.
If it's only affecting the vulnerable badly then these people might not have a wide circle of people in their lives anyway.

Re: Who is catching coronavirus?
Probably because some people are avoiding going in.Sunderland Nut wrote: ↑30 Apr 2020, 02:31 It's all a mystery but if you dig deep like I just did you'll find out that these so called coronavirus hospital wards are empty.
People with cancer concerns, heart attacks, strokes.. Should still be seeking help.
It might get rid of the time wasters though, people that get a little cut and go to A&E
