Go out in the countryside with binoculars and look around.
Best ones are 10x50.
If you get bored on a night, late now that it's Summer, you can use the same binoculars to look at the sky.
You don't need a telescope!
The best way to do this is to get a beach lounger, lie on your back and watch a small portion of the sky at a time.
Use the online star charts.
Don't just look up scour around and give in because there's a lot going on up there.

Love this when Earth passes through the trails left behind by comets.

Looking for "birds"?
I do that every day at work.
You work with nature?

Isn't there an app you can get that tracks the night sky?

Tells you what are stars and planets, and where to look

If you've done everything else that you need and want some chill time, this is the perfect setting really.
A few sarnies and a flask of tea like this is Heaven.

Finding a cool spot with a cup of tea at the bottom of the garden is the same.
