The owner of some of the UK's biggest shopping centres, Intu, has called in administrators.

Intu had been struggling even before the coronavirus outbreak with about £4.6bn worth of debt.

The High Streets have suffered for years because of these out of town centres, now it's payback time and not before long :mrgreen:

We will still buy the same amount of stuff so some company that employs people will benefit.
Perhaps the government should step in now ..... to save the high street.
Lower all business rates for those town centres that have suffered because of out of town shopping centres and the internet.
