Shouldn't we see this as an advantage?

There'll be positives and negatives. Who knows there may be loopholes :red_yes:

No. We are basically being told how much to pay our employees, and just because we can afford to pay more to attract better players, this puts us at a disadvantage.

It should be based on income, and what we can afford, but obviously the rest of the league don't like the fact that we can do that.

But who would you rather play for, Sunderland with the potential or a minnow?

Lets be honest, it all comes down to money. We're going to be screwed when our better players are out of contract and we have the possibility of staying in this league..

We won't be able to compete with any championship clubs wanting our players, because we won't be allowed to offer them more than a certain amount, even though we are more than capable of offering a decent contract.

Why should we be forced to be told what we can pay our own players?

This is killing football as we know it, why don't we get the best clubs in the Championship and Premier League and block these smaller clubs from entering.
Obviously Sunderland would go up and Mickey Mouse clubs would go down.

They've just dragged us down to their level. How dare we be able to afford to pay players more.
