Covid marshals
Who's going to be doing these "jobs" then? Ex security guards, part time bouncers?
What powers are these nuggets going to have?

None of these nuggets have any "power".Steve30000 wrote: ↑13 Sep 2020, 09:53 Who's going to be doing these "jobs" then? Ex security guards, part time bouncers?

Security guards can't touch you, they just report to the police.
Bouncers can't touch you despite what we see in the pubs (nobody will shop them because they won't get back in), they can only prevent you from entering by standing in your road or ask you to leave.
Only the police have the power to touch you and even then they will think twice about doing that!
Walk away from everyone else who think they have "power" because they haven't.
Just what these Covid marshals will be able to do is questionable.
You should probably tell them where to go like all the rest who think they have imaginary "power".
They might be able to record you and then report it to the police but I expect that's all they can do.
Just don't identify yourself at any time to anyone.
And you don't even need to tell the police who you are either, in fact they tell you, "you don't have to say anything........" well don't!

Re: Covid marshals
Then you have to put them in their place, their job will be only to make out a report or call for someone to act.
