Sunderland back on a lockdown with new restrictions

Post by Nockya »

Sunderland as well as South Tyneside and other surrounding areas are now back on some sort of restrictions after we had a spike in the number of coronavirus cases.
Matt Hancock told parliament that from tomorrow the tougher restrictions will be brought in.
It means meeting up with others less and tighter restrictions in pubs with some shutting at 10pm but there will be loads of other rules.

People will still go to work, shops will remain open.

Just the same then.

Sorry for the ignorance but someone said to me last night that as well as the restrictions we have a curfew between 10pm and 5am.
I normally take things like this with a pinch of salt but has anyone else heard anything?

That only applies to certain businesses, not people.

Thanks for that, I suspected this to be the case but I wanted to make sure. You know what people are like.

Can't really do this with face to face chat though.

That's because they like to go on and on and it makes them look big but only to themselves.
When you go back the next day and disprove them they still don't know where they went wrong :headscratch:
