Scientist and ecologists telling the world that we need to change the way we treat our world now, to prevent future pandemics.
Stop cutting down the forests, stop eating too much meat, stop pumping crap into the atmosphere.
Species are being killed off by our actions leading to smaller animals who have less predators to spread diseases more easily..

I never saw it but fully understand where they will be coming from.
I am green minded which is not at all like the thoroughly disgusting Green Party which would never get my vote ever.
Just learning to live in harmony with nature is the key.

Action needs to be taken now to also try to prevent abnormal weather events.

Governments are controlled by greed which they call the economy.
We would all have to be zero carbon soon but can you see the likes of China and India cutting back, I doubt it.
We can all take action by not buying stuff we don't need and not travelling in engine driven machines etc etc.
We all know what we must do but even us are not going to do it.
My job depends on an engine run by petrol.

We need to start respecting this planet or we'll suffer the consequences.Sunderland Nut wrote: ↑15 Sep 2020, 10:47Governments are controlled by greed which they call the economy.

As I say, if you are aware like me then we must take action on an individual level but how many of us are prepared to do this when we are mostly consumerists?Steve30000 wrote: ↑15 Sep 2020, 20:03

It's the buying of unnecessary items (really, do we need them) and disposable society we created that is causing the damage.

People do need to start thinking of their carbon footprint.
Most people see things they would like and just buy them without looking into what damage has been done to the environment to produce them, let alone slave labour which is a different thing altogether!

Recycling helps. I'd get an electric car if they weren't 10 grand more expensive.
