Lib-Dems November Flyer

Post by Trish »

Just a few points from the Lib-Dems who run the Millfield ward
This comes from their flyer delivered today.

City Hall Costs Spiral

Shock as Sunderland Council (run by Labour) will be paying £2.4 million rent every year for the new City Hall. The council have a 35-year lease on the new buildings on St Mary's Way.

The following article in their political newsletter might interest @Sunderland Nut

------------------------------

"No Rat Problem In This City Say Labour" :o

The Liberal Democrats and residents are furious after Labour Councillors voted against proposals to tackle the rat problem in the city.
Lib Dem Councillor, Julia Potts, says she has been demanding the council take action against the rat problem for a long time.

------------------------------

The flyer continues with news about the coronavirus and the new recycling and household waste dump up at Pallion to replace the one at Deptford.

People in Sunderland can just say no to Labour by voting for an alternative party like we did in Millfield.
The Labour Party are no longer welcome in this area of the city.

No rat problem in Sunderland, wtf are they on?
Typical Labour really but the Lib-Dems are not the solution neither is the Tories but I voted for them to "Get Brexit Done".
Next time there's an election, you can vote but I won't.

I don't believe they said that, do you? That to me sounds like political spin.

If it's in the leaflet they will have unless they didn't say it and the Lib-Dems are making it up.
Oh yeah, this is politics, the parties are riddled with liars.

Of course there is political spin but they are saying that they have highlighted the problems and Labour don't want to act or at least are not wanting to provide resources etc.
If you look for rats you'll see them everywhere but if you don't look you won't see them.

Year in, year out for 35 years :o
Where are we going to get that sort of money just for rent?
Silly question because it will be us!

The Sunderland taxpayer will pay yet again and other services will suffer as a result.
