Its the scalpers that are ruining it for the people who genuinely want one.Crawford wrote: ↑20 Nov 2020, 16:26 There was a big thing on the radio about this saying people are spending money again.
Apparently, since the lockdown, we have all spent over £600 less than we normally did for the same period, not sure if it applied to families or individuals.
Also they said that some shops' websites crashed with people trying to buy them and the internet is so much more busy just because of this machine
They use bots to fill in all the details on a website selling them in seconds.. We don't stand a chance.
These retailers should be putting a stop to it, only a few stores have procedures in place to stop it, they should all do it.

You can't trust these sites, they might send you an empty box or the machine might be damaged.
No warranty, no guarantee

Not with modern day payments like a credit card or paypal, both of these guarantee you get what you buy otherwise you get your money back.Steve30000 wrote: ↑21 Nov 2020, 08:52

I've saw loads of these and one trader even boasting that he had 20 at £550 each.

He's used bots to get those. Like I say, it's cheating, underhanded, and should be stopped.Sandy Mackem wrote: ↑21 Nov 2020, 14:58 I've saw loads of these and one trader even boasting that he had 20 at £550 each.
All shops should implement measures to stop it
