On the first of the month as well :o
It will still take about 6 months to vaccinate everyone in the country.
However, I think you need two vaccinations one month apart so you can double that.
How long will it take to vaccinate all the vulnerable people and NHS staff?

Bet it's not a year.

Despite a lot of us who will not be taking the vaccine, the vast majority will still volunteer to have it.
There's 65 million people in the UK.
At a million a day that is over 2 months but there will be less than a million, more like 100,000.

The sooner the better because there just doesn't appear to be an end in sight otherwise.

OK there are concerns that it hasn't been given the rigorous tests like others get but these are difficult times and it is a pandemic!

It's good to know and I can't wait because this has been a horrible year all round.
Canny unbelievable really. Apart from paying for all this there's got to be better times ahead.

If they can find a solution to COVID-19 so quick then they should be able to fight off a lot more other niggling bugs or viruses.

They won't throw money at that though..

Part of the reason the NHS needed protecting in case they were overwhelmed was that they have been severely underfunded for years.. But the tory government don't want to admit that.. Shhhhhh

All the vulnerable should be vaccinated by March, so surely the hospital admissions will fall, because less people will be getting really ill?

And the whole point of these lockdowns and restrictions was to protect the NHS...

Or are the government going to move the goalposts and say its down to infections now? I don't trust Boris or his clowns

I just don't trust any of them but I'd rather have Boris in out of the current crop of politicians.
His clown act is just that, an image which he maintains.
Underneath all that, he knows his onions.
He is doing a good job with Brexit so far and hopefully he will not bow at the last minute and prove to be a weak negotiator.
