Motorists love smashing through this and soaking pedestrians. I'm sure they speed up and move closer on purpose... Dont suppose they know its illegal and classed as assaultSunderland Nut wrote: ↑04 Dec 2020, 17:09 It only takes a small amount of rain to turn the road between Millfield Metro Station and the health centre at Hylton Road into a lake.
Take last night, just a small downpour and that was it, a dangerous deep water hazard that motorists have to contend with.
Year in and year out this happens.
Sunderland Council and the police obviously know about it because we all do.
I will put a link to this in the Sunderland Council neglect post.
Where's the good old active Lib-Dem councillors now?
Come on, this is dangerous and it happens many times a year!

Re: Millfield Road Lake
Anyone who speeds up to drive through that particular pool of water on Hylton Road needs their head looking at.
It's always pretty deep when it starts and they risk losing control of the vehicle.
But yes, in other areas they do speed up and even veer off course just to splash people.
Idiots.
