SAFC interfering again!

Post by blockheed »

It's hard to believe but SAFC have released a statement telling the fans not to boo at home or away.
It mainly refers to those (if any Sunderland players still do) who take the knee but it goes on about discrimination in general.

Just when you thought that the club was stopping the bullying!
My message to the club is we fans mostly do act impeccably but it's you that introduced politics into football!
We only want football and nothing else :pull_hair:

BLM is a sick political movement and you need to read what they are all about not just support a stupid slogan.

I wonder what rattled their cage this time?
So can we boo them off the field if they play crap, not that I've ever done that ;)

There's nothing wrong with the words of that but people do have a habit of making a slogan that if you disagree with they will bash you over the head with some name.

You are not a racist for booing those taking the knee, how ridiculous is that?
Them people are against authority like the police and want to stop funding them :o
If it was the Labour Party in the field I would boo so I wonder what name they would call me :headscratch:

I thought all this had gone away. Is it a distraction or something?

Pressure from others.

From who though? The Sunderland players don't take the knee now. Does that mean they will be ordered to do that to please a group intent on anarchy?

Here's a quote direct from their website:
We meant what we said when we said #DefundThePolice.
This is not some slogan but a policy demand.
That is what football clubs up and down the UK are promoting!

We know that but they have some other disturbing policies as well.
Why on earth is this movement being allowed to have a platform at all never mind football clubs backing them?

Under the circumstances then, the police mustn't like that movement and neither will the government but football clubs love them? This is not making sense but then I am only of average intelligence :headscratch:

Of course not many people like the BLM movement.
Try saying White Lives Matter though and you'll be in for it!
Whatever you say against that organisation you better be prepared for a tirade of abuse.

It's the three-word slogan "black lives matter" that is the problem - we all know it matters but they want their pound of flesh and they will get it.
The problem lies with the political movement and what it stands for.
Footballers are taking the knee and some are clenching their fists - all of this means they do not respect authority like government and the police etc.
Football clubs that are allowing the promotion of the BLM movement have no idea - all they see is the slogan!

I suggest that all football clubs that want to promote any organisation should look into exactly what they stand for first!
On second thought, can we not just have the football and let the politicians look after the politics!

So it's a no-win situation then.
