It's never coming back if we're going to be this cautious

I agree but Boris Johnson wanted herd immunity from the word go.
We are very advanced in all this now, our jabs are going good and many people have natural immunity so we are not far short of herd immunity.
It's recognised now that the UK is well advanced and will come out of all this in the lead.
Herd immunity involves crowds, not to spread it deliberately, but if we catch it then so be it.
The UK is peaking now and it will only be a few months before the virus has nowhere to go.

Two million people over the weekend and that brings money to local businesses.

The Tories are saying there will never be another lockdown for Covid and the worst is over after peaking with Omicron, so by Summer, the threat will be minimised.

Really?

If this is the case then it proves what an inept council we have.
Oh, by the way, it's Labour-run, what a surprise!
If you snooze, you lose or was it deliberate?
