:o

I know there's a shortage of cars due to a shortage of certain silicon chips so there might be a problem in that industry.
That was a weird excuse wasn't it but apparently, it's true.
Cars nowadays are brimming with computerised technology.
The AA bloke told me that when you turn the engine off there are mini-computers on board that can take up to half an hour to shut down.
It can help drain your battery, be aware.

If this were true, you wouldn't be able to start your car when you got back to it.

It is true, they use small amounts of power though.
I play my radio a lot without the engine running.
That drains the battery but if you drain so much and then turn off the car, those small amounts can add up.
