the cladding mess, a pandemic, partygate, a war, rising energy prices, cost of living crisis, inflation going up, the climate, and now a possible recession...
I'm sure I've missed a few out, and you might say some of these things are not their fault, but it's also the way they've handled things, they've made things worse than they needed to be imo. They react, rather than be proactive, and let's be honest here...they protect the rich.
Incompetence comes to mind.

Yes indeed!
The only problem is that the Tories are not responsible for Russia invading Ukraine which has caused a global economic crisis.
The Tories are not responsible for other things that have a knock-on effect on the UK.
However, they are fully responsible for the illegal immigrants crossing the English Channel - they are far too soft IMHO.
They say they will send them to Rwanda or some African country but they know this will not work.
That Patel woman talks the talk but that's all it is talk.
I doubt very much whether the loonies on the left would do a better job, although I would prefer Starmer instead of Boris.
Saying that, I am not sure whether Starmer would supply defensive weapons to Ukraine.

There are things they could implement to mitigate these problems though. They take far too long to solve these solutions that Joe public would know the answer to, in a minute.Sunderland Nut wrote: ↑18 May 2022, 22:53Yes indeed!

The banks will be making a lot of money from these interest rates for instance, why not tax them more, windfall tax maybe? Instead of punishing people who can't afford it? Instead they'll bend over backwards to keep the rich happy whilst they're taking from the poor. It's disgusting

That's the ruling class for you.
What I could never understand is why these so-called socialists or commies talk about sharing the wealth but they do well out of politics.
Why can't these people not work for minimum wage and expenses, I doubt it!

If it's always been like this then there will be no change no matter who is in!

Ir's always about money and the socialists are the same.Sunderland Nut wrote: ↑19 May 2022, 15:44 If it's always been like this then there will be no change no matter who is in!
What does the three Labour MP's in Sunderland actually do for the high wages they get?
They call themselves socialists with wages like that, don't tell me about the Labour Party and socialism because it stinks of hypocrisy when we have queues at the food banks.
I went off Labour completely with Corbyn and his absolute rubbish soviet style policies.
Most of his supporters are still there and it will take a generation to get that party in order.
Look at the leader - a sir!
Well, he has said that if he gets a fine for breaking Covid rules, he will resign.
Anyway, rant over about these hypocrites who love and protect others with money.

Aye, but he looks and sounds like a statesman should, unlike the buffoon!
