I pay about a quid a day for electric, and now they want to charge me 5.85 a day?

Surely that's not right? So from 7 pound a week to to 35?
Really? I swear to god, they're going to get abuse on the phone if they think that's acceptable.

Mine went up from around £45 per month to about £85. This was months ago. They are getting blasted for acting too cautious. However, I have heard that gas and electric are all going up double again.

It's going to get worse towards the winter.

I think there is mounting pressure for them to step in.

Disgusting. I thought the cap was 54%, not 100%?
They really are despicable companies

It was in the news not long back that these companies overreacted.Steve30000 wrote: ↑27 May 2022, 23:41Disgusting. I thought the cap was 54%, not 100%?

I'm not too bothered because now I am in credit by quite a bit and I can get the excess anytime (might be three months of excess before they release it, I'm not sure).
