It was in the news not long back that these companies overreacted.
I'm not too bothered because now I am in credit by quite a bit and I can get the excess anytime (might be three months of excess before they release it, I'm not sure).
Not likely, these companies have us by the and will want to make lots of profit

I pay about a quid a day for electric, and now they want to charge me 5.85 a day?

They're planning on bumping the price up again in October.. they're certain of that.Sunderland Nut wrote: ↑29 May 2022, 04:38It's an uncertain market though.Steve30000 wrote: ↑28 May 2022, 08:36

That makes no difference because there is only a limited amount of money and you can't rob Peter to give to Paul.

Has to be paid or they cut you off. Like I said they've got us by theSunderland Nut wrote: ↑31 May 2022, 04:26That makes no difference because there is only a limited amount of money and you can't rob Peter to give to Paul.
You could sort of understand it if these energy companies were struggling to stay afloat, but they're not, they're making billions in profits, so there's no excuses to put the prices up.
The government need to take the company's from them and nationalise them again, that'd stop their antics
