I pay about a quid a day for electric, and now they want to charge me 5.85 a day?

It was in the news not long back that these companies overreacted.
I'm not too bothered because now I am in credit by quite a bit and I can get the excess anytime (might be three months of excess before they release it, I'm not sure).
Overreacted? So the price will come down then?

Not likely, these companies have us by the ⚽🎾 and will want to make lots of profit
It's an uncertain market though.

They're planning on bumping the price up again in October.. they're certain of that.

That is true but it is not going down well, not one bit.

That makes no difference because there is only a limited amount of money and you can't rob Peter to give to Paul.

Has to be paid or they cut you off. Like I said they've got us by the ⚽🏉

You could sort of understand it if these energy companies were struggling to stay afloat, but they're not, they're making billions in profits, so there's no excuses to put the prices up.

The government need to take the company's from them and nationalise them again, that'd stop their antics
