Some things should be nationalised but whether they are or not we should not let the energy companies or even our water be controlled by foreign entities.

Great way to show Europe how to get rid of energy addiction :) I'm not referring to cutting ties, but to increasing the share of renewable energy sources - that's the future, in my opinion.

Renewable energy is the way to go, but what about the present? We should be finding ways of making it more affordable, otherwise we end up with more poverty... And that leads to more unrest and crime

There are many ways we could produce energy cheap enough but we have just been too busy plundering the earth's resources while it was cheap.

They needed to dispose of the waste and which they couldn't do safely enough.
