Them low-down digital coffins are dangerous

Post by Trish »

Them low-down digital coffins are dangerous!
What are they?
I am only presuming it's the digital people putting in new cables as that's what they were doing before there went up (or should I say down).
These things are the size of and look like a coffin, are yellow and only rise about a foot.
They are pointy at the top, presumably to stop people sitting on them.
These things are a tripping hazard and my son already fell over one on the way back from the pub!
Absolute joke!

There's one down Hendon opposite Deerness Park, I must admit, I can see where you are coming from now.
I reckon quite a few claims will go in.

They are yellow because apparently, that is the last colour we see when we lose our sight.
That is why many things are yellow like tactile paving etc.

That is no excuse for them putting these tripping hazards down.
I can see them in court, "but we did paint them yellow"!

I might have the day off today!

No but the one I was talking about in Millfield has been replaced with a massive tall one so it looks like the yellow dangerous ones are temporary.

I was wondering what was going on here but that one is still there and I saw another one on my travels since.
Those should have a barrier around them regardless of whether they are temporary @Trish
