Sunderland v Plymouth Argyle (January 2025)

Post by Nockya »

Sunderland v Plymouth Argyle

Well, here we are with another home game at the Stadium of Light, and we are on the final furlong.
Will Sunderland get an automatic promotion spot, or will we end up in the play-offs?

The kick-off today is 3pm.
It is a sunny day on Wearside, but it is very cold out there.

Sheffield United got stuffed at home last night 3-0 which come as a shock, but can the lads capitalise on that.
Plymouth are bottom of the Championship and were also shafted at home 5-0 mid-week.
The lads will be favourites, but let's not take anything for granted, hey.

This is the starting lineup today:

Sunderland AFC starting XI: Patterson; Hume, Mepham, O'Nien, Cirkin; Samed, Neil, Jobe, Roberts, Le Fée; Isidor.
SAFC substitutes: Moore, Hjelde, Jones, Rigg, Aleksic, Mayenda, Aouchiche, Poveda, Ballard.

I am predicting a 3-0 win for Sunderland.

We are not looking too good, because we can't penetrate Plymouth.
They obviously came here to defend.

I was just coming back to say Plymouth scored and we are not looking good but we equalised shortly after.
