Well folks this was a canny result away from home considering recent performances. With the new signings and the promise of a new striker things are beginning to take shape

Sunderland took the lead but Catts gave away a silly penna and Villa went in 2-1 up. Luckily we equalised and shared the points. There is no game next week so as chance for the new players to settle in.

Not a bad result really although Carts will feel he is responsible for throwing the game away. Sunderland played a lot better at Aston Villa so we should be proud of that. The break will do us good.

You will always get the moaners but I will say that one point at Aston Villa is perfect considering the trash we were served in the opening games.
