Sunderland Ladies 1-3 Arsenal Ladies - 27th Sept 2015
Sunderland Ladies were beaten in their final home game of the season by Arsenal.
It was a good attempt by the lasses who play for Sunderland and they will end up around mid-table this season.
Have the Sunderland Women's football team been renamed Sunderland Ladies? On their website that's what it seems to be now

The Sunderland Ladies will play their last game this season away to top of the table Chelsea Ladies next Sunday, the 4th October at 6pm.
Nice one for the Red and White lasses to play in so I hope they enjoy themselves in the capital.

It does look like the Sunderland Women's Football Club have changed their name to Sunderland Ladies
Their standing in the league table also confirms this.
I have checked online and they definitely were called the Sunderland Women's Football Club because you can see traces on the internet of their old website which was http://www.sunderlandwfc.co.uk. That site is no longer active.
Maybe when the lasses won promotion to the Premier League they changed their name.
It looks like the Sunderland Forum may have to rename the Sunderland womens football forum
I might have the day off today!
