Re: Jacky Whites Market in Sunderland
Oh aye, the sawdust
The smell
But we wouldn't have Jacky Whites Market any other way really

Possibly, but I think Atkinsons for Records were in either Blandford Street or Atheneaum Street. Maybe they mover from the market.Nockya wrote:Wasn't there a record shop in Jacky Whites Market?
I seem to remember buying an odd single from there.
It may have been called Atkinsons but it was so long ago I just can't remember.

I just seem to pass by Jacky Whites Market now. Come to think of it I just pass through the Bridges Shopping Centre as well. I hate shopping.

I don't get to town often nowadays but its nice to see that Jacky Whites Market is still going strong.

Re: Jacky Whites Market in Sunderland
I always have a good look around the town when I go over there.
I usually visit Jacky Whites Market about once every two months.
We used to always grab a bite to eat in there a few years ago but we don't snack in town now.
Over the years I must have spent quite a bit in Jacky Whites but not so much in the last few years.

I used to use the weighing machine in Jacky Whites Market
I am not sure if there is one still in there as I have never been in the place for years.
