An update to this after the government's daily bulletin:

All shops will close with the exception of food shops and chemists and others who supply essentials.
But still, we can update this because in the list above food shops have closed like Macky Dee's.

It was good to see the other shops closing voluntarily, maybe they knew it was coming anyway.

I've just been to the bank and it's all orderly there and everyone staying 6 feet apart.
Keep it up and we'll defeat this virus.

What are essentials though?
Like those handy bargain shops can sell essentials and so stay open and make a killing.

Like b&m? They sell food, so they have an excuse to stay open.
