Don't go to work unless it's essential

Post by Steve30000 »

Unless you work in a factory producing non essential products, then crack on. 🙄

Don't gather in groups, unless you work in construction or call centres or factory's, it's Areet, just carry on.

Stay at home... Unless you can't work there, then just go to work.

Some companies are taking liberties with this can't work from home situation, and taking advantage of it, putting their employees at risk.

Is it really essential to be building stuff, if its not related to any of the emergency services needs?

Wealth over health..

You must admit everything is confusing until the fine details are worked out.

@Steve30000 I do believe you are having a dig but it's a misplaced dig to be fair.

Those who do work should be the key workers only but you can't blame those who work because of certain pressures.

01) So far, the government has offered no help to the self employed unlike those who have an employer who get 80% of their wages.
02) Some employers have told their workers that if they don't work they will not have a job - maybe this is illegal but I don't know.

You are an employee and told to stay at home with 80% of your wages but your self-employed neighbour gets nothing, would you half your wages?

Another example is that you work for a company but told to work or your job will not be there for you if you stay at home.
You are not confident that you could get another as good, what do you do?

It's alright knocking people for working but it's not black and white and in many cases unfair.
You should be knocking the government not the workers.
