China claim to have a vaccine
Really? They won't mind if the world scientists have a look at this then, will they?
Or are they going to charge us for it?

This might be true but I doubt if the west will have it on the market unless it has been tested over and over which normally takes 18 months.

It takes that long to get a vaccine, then test it.Bus Driver wrote: ↑31 Mar 2020, 10:58 This might be true but I doubt if the west will have it on the market unless it has been tested over and over which normally takes 18 months.
They're claiming to already have the vaccination, which would surely cut the timeline down?

Can't see how since we've only known about this strain for about 4 months.Steve30000 wrote: ↑31 Mar 2020, 15:37It takes that long to get a vaccine, then test it.Bus Driver wrote: ↑31 Mar 2020, 10:58 This might be true but I doubt if the west will have it on the market unless it has been tested over and over which normally takes 18 months.

They had it for 2 month longer, didn't they?Bus Driver wrote: ↑31 Mar 2020, 15:51Can't see how since we've only known about this strain for about 4 months.Steve30000 wrote: ↑31 Mar 2020, 15:37

Anyway, maybe it's just me, but I don't believe owt they say. I'd say it's pretty convenient for them to claim to have a vaccine after it's caused so much chaos across the world, and it's having a damaging effect on our economy's... Except theirs..
Well dodgy to me, something is not right there. Maybe it's just a coincidence, eh?

Nah but you are in the right forum to instigate a debate and we've had some of them over the years hereSteve30000 wrote: ↑31 Mar 2020, 23:34They had it for 2 month longer, didn't they?Bus Driver wrote: ↑31 Mar 2020, 15:51

Correct! The west will never put something like this on the market unless it's been given a good run through.Bus Driver wrote: ↑31 Mar 2020, 10:58 This might be true but I doubt if the west will have it on the market unless it has been tested over and over which normally takes 18 months.
Don't expect an injection within the next 12 months.
