Parkinsons transfer plans

This is the SAFC Forum. You may chat about Sunderland AFC here together with any other footballing matters. Obviously, the Black Cats are the main focus. However, this is basically our football lounge.

Parkinsons transfer plans

Parkinson is targeting around ‘seven or eight’ new signings, and has also urged the club to progress a contract extension for Tom Flanagan, who has been a regular in his defence during 2020.

The Black Cats boss has previously said that he will be patient in waiting for some targets, believing that a better calibre of player could be available later in the summer when the Championship and Premier League clubs have concluded.

Waiting for a better calibre of player?
Now where have I heard this before?

Not with Donald in charge, matey. 🙄💷😑

If only Sunderland were bold enough to speculate here then we could be on a winner.
In the light of coronavirus and clubs struggling through loss of revenue, there may be a few bargains around.
Haway the lads, this could be the season where we walk this league and I trust in Parkinson to lead us.

This is definitely the time to invest and it makes business sense.

You should always invest when you are on top and we are the best of the crop in my opinion.
Like @Sunderland Nut says, we could capitalise while other teams are struggling.

If we don't get a decent team together in the next few weeks then the club is a total failure because this is the time for us.
We know the league and have a manager who also knows it well and we are not as financially weaker than other clubs.
The next season is ours.

It's about time there was some movement because people are getting sick of the situation now.

There'll be a few lanky players in there to head the high balls.

Athletic type and extremely good footballers capable of winning the league and that silly cup.
