I was going to prepare a canny little farewell speech but @Steve30000 beat me to it.
Phil Parkinson had to go, he has no idea what to do to get the best out of these players.
The crowd were always going to give him some more time with this new campaign but that time ran out.

Goodbye Parky, no hard feelings and I really mean that.
You came, you tried, you failed.
Best of luck in whatever you do in the future though.

Seems like the Fleetwood game was the last straw.

I'd like to personally thank Phil Parkinson for taking on the Sunderland job, he knew it would be hard and gave it a go.

Hopefully PP is not out of a job for too long.
