You are right but I have to stick with it now and I am lucky that third gear just about does it.
Actually, I pray for people in front to stick with 20mph so I don't feel like an idiot :lolboard:

I don't see much of that but some people do and you can't blame them really.

Don't drive through Pallion, Ford or Pennywell because you'll fall asleep driving at 20mph.

I can't understand why some areas are designated 20mph zones.
Anyone notice that the police drive at that speed in a 30 area and it's annoying following them?

What was that you said again?

The police even drive slow with their lights on and sirens blaring

Well, I think I know why I am missing the 20mph zones because they are not sticking a signpost up at the beginning of a new road.
It looks like they are putting a blanket 20mph limit on whole estates full stop with repeaters on the road!
If you live in those areas such as Hylton Castle and have a visitor who leaves your home, they will not know until it's too late, I'd imagine.

I travelled from Pallion and onto St Lukes Road all the way up Portsmouth Road and onto Chester Road and the whole lot is 20mph.
You can understand this between school hours but not in the early hours of the morning.
Never again should anyone vote for these idiots who bring this sort of thing in.
All I can say is that Sunderland City Council must be going to have a 20mph zone on every estate, so if you have not got one yet, it's coming.
Vote these complete imbeciles out!
