New city hall in the city centre
I thought only Americans had buildings by this name?
Looks nice, I wonder what's happening with the civic center site then? That will probably be sitting there for 20 years before doing anything.

The old site is prime land that could become something really good for this city if they could only think ahead.Steve30000 wrote: ↑17 Nov 2021, 12:22 I thought only Americans had buildings by this name?

I doubt it will become land use for the public again though, more like houses but probably more flats or apartments.

I liked the old plans for that area but I think that idea went when a few firms went under.

Re: New city hall in the city centre
Do we use City Hall now and not Civic Centre when that place opens?
If so, that's canny and I will adjust my language

Looks nice though. All the investment is coming from an insurance firm I think.

Re: New city hall in the city centre
I can see us all saying City Hall as well
Old school here and I will settle for civic centre just to be awkward.
I still ask for a Marathon and have never asked for a Snickers and I still get what I want
