One fell on Kier Hardy Way and was cut back but not enough and even during the night it was capable of scraping the sides of cars going by :o

That was Storm Arwen but Storm Barra is coming tonight so batten down the hatches again.
This afternoon I've tied down a few things and put heavy bricks on some things that I fear might fly off in this wind.
The fence is swaying a bit so I think Storm Arwen has loosened the fence posts.
Stay safe

One side of mine went west and I see loads on my travels.
The devastation here is not as bad as other places but there are a few gable ends down.

It was just an average windy night here in Sunderland and wasn't bitterly cold like the other storms but I agree that tieing things down when storms approach is the way to go.

Another fence down oh dear.
Apparently, there will be a lull then tomorrow will be a separate storm.
