This has to be the longest pandemic in human history

Surely? Do we just keep panicking at every variant? Other pandemics lasted 2 years, how long is this going to go on for? 🤦‍♂️

Well, where do you start?
It will mutate and mutate forever so where do you draw the line?
Do we lockdown every time there is a new strain coming our way or do we do what Boris Johnson first said: "take it on the chin"?
Or you could see it another way like some do as in it's a form of social control.
Whatever you think, it will not be going away soon.

I'm all for that, isolate the vulnerable when a wave comes but the rest of us will live with it.
I would add that if they can stay ahead with the vaccines then all the better.

This is going to go on forever. Those that want a jab should get one, those that don't, don't. Leave it at that.

Then we just need to get on with it. Otherwise we're going to be doing this every single winter, using this as an excuse to stop people enjoying Christmas.
