She said: "Lou Lou is usually an indoor cat, she usually just goes into the garden and then comes back inside as she is really shy and timid.

"She is my baby, I’ve had her since she was just 16 weeks old and is now aged four and a half years – she has never been missing before.

Lou Lou has been missing from the Pallion area since Tuesday, December 7.

It's probably in another animal now.

Big dogs? Can a fox attack a cat?

Nah, I see many of these every night and they bugger off well in advance, I think that is their way of surviving, any danger and go.
A cat can usually give as good as it gets and they will know that.
A fox will just scavenge for food.

Trust me, you can see a fox in every part of Sunderland.
They wander around every estate and could even visit your garden looking in your bins and such.
They see you first and if you are not quick to see them they run for cover.
They don't let you get too close but over time you can tell it's them in the distance and not a cat, for instance.
Sometimes if you go round a corner and catch them out you might get close to one but they quickly run away.
I guess you will only see them if you are a night owl.

Foxes are all over but I doubt if they would eat a cat because they are softies.
I hope she gets the cat back because I love cats, I lost mine years ago and might get another.
